Anny and I took the Liberty Helicopter Tour last winter. It was great! We circled the Statue of Liberty, soared along Manhattan Island past the Empire State Building and Central Park. I would love to do it again.

Liberty Helicopter is the largest Helicopter Sightseeing and Charter
Service in the Northeast. They are currently the only authorized
Helicopter Sightseeing Company in New York City. Liberty began in the
charter business on April 10th, 1985, and added sightseeing tours of New
York City on September 6th, 1990. Since opening Liberty continually
receives the annual Safety Award from the Helicopter Association
International, along with being the recipient of the Five Star Diamond
Award for 1996, 1997, and 1998. This impressive record is in part due to
the high caliber of our staff and the reliability of our equipment. All
aircraft and flight crews are certified and inspected to meet the
demanding standards of the Federal Aviation Administration.

Our Helicopters
Liberty Helicopters primarily uses American Eurocopter products. Our
state-of-the-art Single and Twin Engine Jet Helicopters are climate
controlled, providing heat and air conditioning, along with an expanded
cabin, comfortably seating up to seven. Those aboard enjoy spectacular
sights and photo/video opportunities unique to helicopter sightseeing.
How to Book
It's easy! Just click the link for the tour you
want to take! A reservation form will open in a pop up window. After
you complete the form, Liberty Helicopters will send you a confirmation
via e-mail. Come to the heliport at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
You can check your personal belongings before the flight. You will be
allowed to take along your cameras. Board one of the Liberty helicopters
and take off for an adventure over Manhattan.
A 15% reservation deposit is due to USATourist.com at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable. When you arrive at the heliport, you will need to pay the remaining balance of the total tour price to Liberty Helicopter. Be sure to bring a printed copy of your email reservation to verify that you have paid the 15%!

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation of tour outside of 24 hours of your tour departure
date is subject to a $25 per person cancellation fee, any cancellation
within 24 hours of scheduled date will result in full payment taken from
your credit card. If passengers do not show up for the tour then the
deposit paid is non refundable. Liberty Helicopters, Inc reserves the
right to upgrade, alter or terminate any or all of our sightseeing tours
due to security, weather or acts of God. If this happens and a new
reservation date can not be made then your deposit will be refunded. If
Liberty Helicopter unable to meet your requested tour dates and times,
your deposit will be refunded.
Security Requirements
All guests of Liberty Helicopters must observe the following SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid photo ID (i.e. - Passport or Drivers License)
- Must check in all bags with security
- No handbags or carry ons will be allowed on the flight
- Must walk through a metal detector
- Must pay a mandatory Heliport / Security Fee of $30.00 per person
- Personal cameras and video cameras are allowed onboard once they clear through security.*
(*Disposable cameras available for purchase at heliport and will be allowed onboard the aircraft as well)
