At the start of the tour, you can opt for pick-up from your Surfers Paradise hotel, or meet the tour at ctivity operator 'Adventure Terminal' fronts the car park at Mariners Cove Marina, 60 SeaWorld Drive, Main Beach. Adjacent to Fisherman’s Wharf Tavern and Marina Mirage. If you meet the tour at Mariners Cove you should check in 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
If you select the pick-up from Surfers Paradise hotel then you will enjoy a ride in a 10-seat, open air, stretch ‘Super Jeep’, one of only two vehicles of the kind in Australia! You’ll cruise along Surfers Paradise Esplanade enjoying superb views of the beach-front and high-rise lined streets before zipping along Main Beach’s exclusive Tedder Avenue. Filled with fashionable boutiques and alfresco dining places, this is a hot spot for local socialites and visiting celebrities.
Then board your jet boat for a 45-minute thrill ride on the beautiful Gold Coast Broadwater. Protected by The Spit to the south and South Stradbroke Island to the north, the calm waters of Broadwater are ideal for speed boating.
Your trip takes place on one of the safest and most advanced jet boats available. The craft is super fast and ultra-maneuverable, powered by either a V8 race tuned, big block 502 Chevy or a high performance, turbo-charged 500hp ‘new age’ diesel engine.
Your ride will be action packed and full of incredible high speed slides and drifts, exciting 360 degree spins, awesome beach buzzing and nose-offs. The adventure takes you around Wavebreak Island, past the mansions of Sovereign Island and weaving through the mangrove channels of the Aldershots.
Your activity operator is the only jet-boat company permitted to access the protected Moreton Bay Marine Park, providing you with an exclusive tour through more scenic and secluded areas of the Broadwater and the opportunity to view wallabies, dolphins and other wildlife.
On the way home, you’ll buzz the beaches and shallows of South Stradbroke Island and whizz past Sea World and Palazzo Versace.
